Hyundai ix20 (10 - present)

Hyundai have really stepped up efforts to compete with their European rivals and the ix20 underlines their progress. With stylish looks, nippy engines, smooth ride quality, and excellent storage capability, it makes a capable city car. The interior is surprisingly spacious and is really comfortable. In the front of the cabin, the centre console is nicely packaged; brushed finish on the dials and buttons give it a top quality look. It is well kitted out too as it has underfloor storage, electric heated door mirrors, Bluetooth, reversing sensors, multi-functional steering wheel, and 16ins alloys. Driving the ix20 is easy; the ride quality is really smooth, and the steering is nice and light, which make it perfect for whizzing around town. In terms of engines, there are three efficient, economical, and inexpensive-to-run versions to choose from.
