Hyundai i30 (07 - 11)

To many people, the i30 is seen as the car that changed Hyundai’s reputation as a ‘budget car’ manufacturer. In fact, the i30 can confidently compete against the Volkswagen Golf or even the Ford Focus. It’s been an impressive transformation for Hyundai and one which has benefited all of their cars. This generation of the i30 in particular is a very good looking car both inside and out, and it still sells well today despite there being a new model on the market. In terms of practicality, the i30 doesn’t disappoint. The interior has plenty of space and there’s a decent size boot too. It’s also really nicely designed. The central console looks neat and everything is very user friendly. The i30 is also a great car to drive. It’s easy to handle, the ride is supple, and the steering feels light but well-weighted. There’s a good range of petrols and diesels to choose from; each one being very efficient, economical and cheap to run.
