Ford Kuga (08 - 12)

This was easily one of the best looking ‘crossovers’ when it first came on the scene. It may lack the muscle and ability of some in terms of off-road ability but on tarmac it is hard to beat. It handles extremely well and the ride quality is excellent. Inside there is plenty of space, comfortable seats and a good amount of standard equipment. There are a few engines but the most popular is the 2.0-litre TDCI. It delivers 134bhp, 320nm of torque and has a top speed of 113mph. Fuel economy is impressive for a crossover, returning around 46 miles to the gallon.
